Dott. Mag. Hana Petrova, LL.M.

Hana is originally from the Czech Republic and her European story began at the Franco-Czech section of the Lycée Slave in Olomouc, Czech Republic. She was then admitted to the bilateral programme between the Czech Republic and France, which enabled her to study throughout secondary school in France and to obtain her baccalauréat at the Lycée Carnot in Dijon.

She continued her higher education at Sorbonne, the University of Florence and Trinity College Dublin. She thus holds a double Master's degree in Italian and French law and a Master's degree in international and comparative law. After her university studies, Hana passed the Paris Bar exam and was admitted to the Paris Bar School, where she completed a preparatory course for the legal profession and gained professional experience in a Parisian law firm, in a French multinational company and in a Czech law firm in Prague.

Hana then returned to Prague, where she worked for several years with a Czech law firm, gaining solid experience in various areas of Czech law. At the same time, she deepened her knowledge of the Czech legal system by joining the LL.M. programme at Charles University in Prague. On several occasions, Hana has been invited to speak at conferences organised by the Parliament of the Czech Republic, the European Commission and the ČEZ Group on various topics related to the comparison between Czech, French and EU law.

Today, Hana provides legal advice as well as other legal services to companies and individuals wishing to do business in the Czech Republic. Her experience of different legal systems and extensive knowledge of foreign languages enable her to work mainly with foreign clients.
